We are a coalition of patients from around the UK that have come together to speak out and raise awareness in the public domain about our difficulties living with this chronic condition Ankylosing Spondylitis. Disabled United last year supported me in my battle to stay on a drug called ani-Tnf. l took part in a clinical drug trial for 5 years and when the trial came to a end my Primary Care Trust would not fund me to stay on the drug that had helped with my constant unbearable pain.After a long hard 6 months i was granted funding on a individual basis.
Many others with Ankylosing Spondylitis contacted me about being in similar situations being denied medications treatments,and many other services we should be entitled to.
